Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Immigration Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a law or legal studies background, strong data entry skills, and experience managing social media content. This role is well-suited for someone who is organized, professional, and interested in Canadian immigration law and client services.
The Immigration Assistant will support the preparation of immigration files, communicate with clients, maintain accurate records, and assist with online marketing and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and organization of immigration applications and supporting documents
- Complete data entry accurately in internal systems, forms, and client files
- Review client documents for completeness and accuracy
- Maintain confidential client records and case files
- Communicate with clients by phone, email, and in person as needed
- Schedule appointments and follow up with clients regarding outstanding documents
- Draft basic correspondence and assist with administrative legal documents
- Conduct basic research related to immigration procedures and requirements
- Upload and organize documents in online portals and case management systems
- Assist with social media posts, updates, and basic content creation
- Help manage the company’s online presence on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or TikTok
- Perform general office and administrative duties as required
Qualifications
- Background in law, legal studies, immigration, paralegal studies, or a related field
- Previous experience in an immigration office, law firm, or professional office is an asset
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, PDF tools, and online portals
- Social media experience, including creating posts, captions, and basic graphics, is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Canadian immigration processes is considered an asset
Preferred Skills
- Experience with immigration forms and client intake
- Familiarity with IRCC portals and online application systems
- Canva or basic graphic design experience
- Customer service experience
- Multilingual ability is an asset

Pay: $17.20-$22.76 per hour
