At ModBox Modular, we are rethinking how Northwestern Ontario builds. Operating out of Thunder Bay, we manufacture complete modular homes and commercial units them in-house, then transport and install for clients across the region. We build smarter, faster, and local.

What is Included in the Role
- Framing and general carpentry on modular units, including floors, walls, roofs, blocking, sheathing, and subfloors
- layout and measuring so work stays straight, square, plumb, and on dimension
- Building from drawings, cut lists, and shop instructions
- Insulation work and envelope details, including air and vapour barrier
- Exterior finishing, including Hardie siding and exterior trim details
- Interior finishing, including drywall prep, flooring, trim, and punch work to keep units clean
- Decks, stairs, and landings as required by the build
- Coordinating with the shop team and other trades so handoffs stay clean and the unit keeps moving
- Keeping your area organized and protecting finished work during production
What We're Looking For
- 3-10+ years carpentry experience in residential, commercial, shop, modular, or production work
- More experience is welcome
- Strong framing fundamentals and the ability to produce clean finishes
- Dependable attendance and a steady pace
- Ability to measure, cut, and build accurately with minimal supervision
- Works well with others and can take direction
