Caliber Coffee Roasters is a local coffee roastery right here in Regina, SK. At our flagship location in the Warehouse District, you'll find our roastery, a showroom full of specialty coffee gear, a tasting bar, and an espresso bar.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and hard-working Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will primarily be on the showroom floor interacting with customers.
As a member of our team, you will learn the features and benefits of our coffee and products to ensure our customers have all the information they need to make a confident purchase. Beyond sales, we are all about making everyone's visit to our space a great experience, including our team members'! From welcoming customers and determining their needs to making recommendations and processing transactions through our POS system, we strive to offer more than just a quick retail visit.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about coffee! Some knowledge of coffee and tea, including different brewing methods, is an asset, but we love sharing our coffee knowledge with those who are excited to learn. Be prepared to learn all the ins and outs from bean to cup!
Duties & Responsibilities
- Welcome guests, determine their needs, make product recommendations, and process transactions through our POS system.
- Assist customers in person and over the phone while keeping the showroom clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Prepare beverages and serve samples at our tasting and espresso bar, as well as at occasional external events, while following food safety protocols.
- Complete opening and closing duties and support the day-to-day operation of the showroom.
Preferred Skills & Requirements
- At least one year of retail or customer service experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, outgoing attitude.
- You are punctual, honest, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and work well independently or as part of a team.
- A passion for coffee is an asset. We're happy to teach the right person everything from bean to cup.
Availability
We are looking for a team member with a flexible schedule who can work at least 4 days per week (approximately 20-24 hours total), including a mix of weekdays and weekends.
Our standard operational hours are:
- Monday to Wednesday & Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Thursday & Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Sunday: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
