The Production Worker position (Temporary, Full Time) will be responsible for operating the production equipment during production. We are currently seeking applicants for a full-time position for our afternoon shift reporting directly to the Production Supervisor.

Key activities
Quality Control:
Perform quality checks on each case to ensure:
Correct number of packages in each case.
Correct case codes are applied.
Packages and cases are free from damage.
Proper application of shrink wrap.
Return unacceptable cases to the packaging area.
Palletizing Operations:
Stack cases correctly according to product specifications.
Verify that the correct number of cases is placed on each pallet based on shipping requirements.
Apply appropriate stickers to specific products (e.g., 200 ml cases).
Respond to alarm signals by assisting in clearing stoppages at the final shrink wrapper.
Clean-Up and Maintenance:
Maintain a clean and organized palletizing area at all times.
Promptly clean any spills in the work area.
Participate in end-of-week clean-up tasks in collaboration with the forklift operator, including:
Foaming the palletizing area.
Rinsing with a high-pressure hose.
Sweeping warehouse aisles.
Required training and experience
Grade 12 or a combination of education and work experience.
Speak and write fluent English.
Skills sought

Shows flexibility and openness to cross-training in various tasks as needed.
Attendance and punctuality.
Specific conditions regarding the position:
Physically capable of performing all work-related tasks and assignments.
Successfully completes the 90-day familiarization period.
Be flexible as to production requirements.
Achieves the objectives outlined in the progressive skills development plan.
