Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Custodians to join our team. The ideal candidates will play crucial roles in maintaining cleanliness and order within commercial office spaces in Thunder Bay. These positions require a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Weekend (Day) Shifts Currently Available. Weekend Shifts Have Flexible Start / End Times. Average Shift Length is Approx 4 - 6 hours. Weekday Evening Shifts Also Available (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Evenings). Shift Length Approx 3.5 - 5 hours.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in various areas of commercial establishments.
- Conduct commercial cleaning activities such as restroom sanitation, floor washing and garbage / recycling collection
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning duties.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a clean and organized environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial services, preferably in a commercial setting.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Please note that more hours are always available for the right candidates. All training is provided. Cleaning equipment and supplies are provided.
Must be able to get to and from commercial establishments located in Thunder Bay such as car dealerships, engineering firms, insurance offices and law offices.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $18.75 per hour
