We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team at Boss Tires. This role focuses on field sales within the commercial, agricultural, and OTR (off-the-road) tire markets, as well as general tire sales for all vehicle types.
The ideal candidate is confident in face-to-face selling, enjoys working in the field, and has strong knowledge of tires and customer needs in trucking, farming, and industrial sectors. You will be responsible for building relationships, visiting customers directly, and driving sales growth through professional service and product expertise.
Responsibilities
- Visit commercial, agricultural, fleet, and industrial customers to promote and sell tires and related services
- Identify new business opportunities through cold calling, field visits, and relationship building
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable tire solutions (commercial, OTR, agriculture, passenger, and light truck)
- Provide on-site product information, pricing, and service options
- Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships
- Follow up on quotes, leads, and existing accounts to close sales
- Coordinate with the shop/warehouse team to ensure product availability and timely service
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales activities, and orders
- Stay updated on tire products, pricing, and market trends
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in tire sales, automotive sales, trucking, agriculture, or industrial sales preferred
- Strong outside sales and customer relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of commercial, OTR, agriculture, and passenger tires is an asset
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a field territory
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer skills for quotes, orders, and CRM updates
- Valid driver’s license required
