Overview
Metro Ford is seeking a skilled, motivated, and reliable Trim Technician / Lube, Oil & Tire Technician to join our Service Department. This position plays an important role in delivering high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services while ensuring every customer receives exceptional care. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and routine scheduled maintenance services.
- Rotate, repair, balance, and install tires.
- Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and accurately document and report findings.
- Perform brake inspections and identify maintenance or repair recommendations.
- Install, repair, and replace interior and exterior trim components and accessories.
- Diagnose basic mechanical concerns using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Assist with minor repairs and adjustments to various vehicle systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow Ford Motor Company and dealership quality standards, repair procedures, and safety policies.
- Communicate inspection results and repair recommendations clearly with service advisors and technicians.
- Provide professional, courteous customer service while supporting the overall service experience.
- Ensure every vehicle meets dealership quality and safety standards before being returned to the customer.
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is considered a strong asset.
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, components, and maintenance procedures.
- Experience performing oil changes, tire services, vehicle inspections, and basic repairs.
- Experience installing and repairing vehicle trim and accessories is preferred.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to safely lift and move tires, batteries, and other automotive components.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
