Our company is looking for a passionate and dynamic Brake Press Setup / Operator to join our team on the evening shift! (4:00pm to 12:00am)
Responsibilities include:
- Setup and operation of Amada & LVD brake press
- Read and follow fabrication drawings
- Assure that 1st off/1st Part is inspected and meets Quality Assurance requirements
- Write programs and change offsets
- Manual handling of completed parts up to 50lbs
- Preventative maintenance of machines
Our ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years metal forming experience in multi-step bending
- Technical school training would be an asset
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
· Experience with Wila Style Tooling would be an asset
- Previous experience operating lift trucks
- Mathematical aptitude
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with repetitive tasks and minimal supervision
