Position Overview
Generations Cleaning is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Commercial Cleaner to join our team at a warehouse facility in Whitby. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys independent work, takes pride in cleanliness, and is comfortable working in an active warehouse environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout warehouse, office, lunchroom, and common areas while following all workplace safety procedures.
Shift:
- Saturday & Sunday 7:00am-11:0am
- Saturday & Sunday 6:00pm-10:00pm
Responsibilities
- Collect and remove garbage and recycling from bins throughout the warehouse and designated areas.
- Clean and sanitize washrooms located in warehouse and office areas.
- Clean lunchroom and cafeteria spaces, including tables, counters, sinks, microwaves, fridges, and other kitchen appliances.
- Dust, wipe down, and maintain office areas, including desks, surfaces, and common touchpoints.
- Vacuum office carpeting and maintain floor cleanliness.
- Sweep under warehouse racking and maintain warehouse floor areas.
- Clean entrances, vestibules, and high-traffic areas to maintain a professional appearance.
- Restock cleaning and washroom supplies as needed.
- Follow site health and safety procedures at all times.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of commercial cleaning experience.
- Must have and wear CSA-approved steel-toed shoes or boots.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with strong attention to safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Physically capable of performing repetitive cleaning tasks, standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and operating cleaning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleaning standards.

Pay: $17.90 per hour
