Responsibilities
· Manage Annual renewal process for Canada & US
· Manage vendor relationships
-Manage Open enrollment set up and delivery for Canada and US
-Promote engagement through employee communication strategies
-Partner with internal stakeholders for record keeping, audit and data integrity
-Answer employee benefits-related questions
-Coordinate bill payments, audit enrollment and investigate discrepancies
-Manage annual compliance calendar for Canada
-Manage annual compliance calendar for US including 5500 filings, PCORI, PPACA
-Reconcile and manage RRSP and 401K plans
-Supervise Benefit administration team to ensure timely accurate record keeping and excellent employee experience
-Be the subject matter expert in plan operations and process improvement strategies
-Support HR VP and work with broker in plan design and carrier negotiations
-Leaves of Absence Benefits administration, invoicing and reconciliations.
·Manage Benefit policies and procedures and ensure compliance with government and provincial/state regulations for Canada and the US.
-collaborate with internal and external stake holder to deliver efficiency and effective cost management
Requirements
· 7+ Years of relevant Canadian/US Benefits experience
· Group Benefits Associate (GBA) or Certificated Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation is an asset
· Strong knowledge of Dayforce Benefits Administration
