Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright Supervisor / Foreman, this is an on-the-road position the typical shift will be 10 days on, 4 days off.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily work assignments to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Mentor and support junior technicians and apprentices; delegate work effectively and lead with a proactive, problem-solving approach
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and quality protocols while maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure clear communication and smooth operational flow
- Maintain a hands-on leadership approach to ensure the optimal team performance and reliability
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, developing practical and effective solutions
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failures or downtime
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operations
- Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests
- Complete all required paperwork, safety documentation, and field reports, including photos and notes
Experience
- Proven experience as a Supervisor or Foreman managing teams of millwrights and apprentices
- Trade experience within the grain industry considered a strong asset
- Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, standards, and procedures
- Having a Journeymen ticket would be an asset
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Experience working with PLCs and control systems is highly desirable
- Skilled in welding and basic fabrication tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to resolve complex mechanical issues
