Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and caring Camp Counselors to join our summer program. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with children in a dynamic outdoor environment, fostering their growth, creativity, and social skills. Ideal candidates are passionate about working with children and have experience in tutoring, teaching, or early childhood education. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and memorable experience for all campers.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety First: Supervise and ensure the well-being of campers at all times. Activity Leadership: Lead and assist with games, sports, crafts, and outdoor adventures. Community Building: Encourage participation and maintain a welcoming, positive camp atmosphere.
- Mentorship: Support campers with problem-solving and social interactions while serving as a positive role model.
- Operations: Assist with the setup and cleanup of activities; follow all camp safety procedures and policies.
- Communication: Coordinate with the Camp Director regarding camper needs or concerns.
- Requirements
- Experience working with children or youth programs preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with children
- Ability to work outdoors and stay active throughout the day Current First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Leadership experience in sports, recreation, or youth programs Creativity in planning games and activities

- $20-$22 per hour, based on experience Expected start date: July 3rd 2026 End of Contract: September 5th 2026 Hours Per week: 40Work hours: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 pm or 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday on camp days, other days based on the business needs.
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
