Job Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Tool Rental Clerk to assist customers, operate and maintain tools, and provide guidance on safe usage and precautions. Experience in a tool rental shop or hardware store is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Help customers select the right tools and explain proper usage and safety tips.
- Maintain and perform basic servicing of rental tools.
- Ensure tools are clean, functional, and ready for use.
- Occasionally assist with on-site customer support and light landscaping/yard work, such as general lawn and garden maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience in tool rental or hardware store preferred.
- Good knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
- Ability to explain tool operation to customers clearly.
- Basic mechanical skills a plus.
