Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient food service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a solid background in food preparation, safety, and hospitality. This role requires supervising staff, managing food handling procedures, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of kitchen and front counter staff during shifts
- Assign duties and ensure staff follow operational and food safety procedures
- Prepare and manage staff work schedules to meet business needs
- Monitor food preparation and service to ensure Church’s Texas Chicken standards for quality, portioning and presentation are followed
- Train new employees and provide ongoing guidance and supervision to existing staff
- Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and workplace safety standards are always maintained
- Handle customer concerns and complaints in a professional manner
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management regarding food and supply needs
- Support daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry. .
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling skills required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Leadership qualities demonstrated through supervising teams, managing conflicts, and motivating staff.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the restaurant industry.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for team coordination and guest interactions.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.25-$16.00 per hour
