Delivery Driver @ Lake of Bays Brewing Company
In this position you will be responsible for the picking, loading and delivery of product.
What YOU will be doing:
- DZ and G driving
- Linehauls from loading dock to loading docks, delivering beer to bars, restaurants, etc. by hand and picking orders
- Prepare, load, unload and inspect delivery vehicle before and after each route
- Conduct daily inspections of the delivery vehicle
- Add fuel and maintain detailed records of fuel costs and mileage
- Deliver items by the required delivery date and time
- Process required paperwork to ensure accurate records are kept of all shipments
- Shuttling materials/full goods to and from production facilities
- Operate and maintain forklifts, hand/power tools and packaging equipment
- Adhere to all Legislated health & safety requirements and Company operating policies
What YOU bring to the table:
- A valid Ontario G & DZ License with a minimum of 2 years’ experience is required
- Clean Driver’s Abstract and Commercial Vehicle Driving Record (CVDR) is required
- Must be comfortable driving a DZ truck (26' straight truck) in the GTHA
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to effectively manage time and remain on schedule
- Results oriented, driven, and disciplined with a “can do” attitude
- Open to working in other areas of operations as needed
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills – a commitment to building effective internal and external relationships is key!
- A passion for craft beer is a definite asset!
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position
- Standard hours are 8:00am-4:00pm Monday to Friday, but evenings and overtime may be required
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 55lbs and manipulate 160lbs
