Job Responsibilities:
· Professional writing such as cover letters, submissions and storylines of customer scenarios
· Filing forms and preparing supporting documentation that meet the IRCC standards for all immigration related applications.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of clients seeking immigration assistance.
- Prepare and file immigration applications, petitions, and supporting documents.
- Monitor case progress and maintain detailed case notes and records.
- Ensure all client information is accurately entered and updated in the case management system.
- Conduct initial intake interviews to assess client needs and eligibility.
- Provide clients with accurate information about immigration processes, timelines, and required documentation.
- Assist clients in gathering necessary documents and evidence to support their applications.
- Schedule and prepare clients for interviews with immigration officials.
- Stay informed about changes in immigration laws, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure all filings and actions comply with current immigration laws and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of all client information and case files.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on case status and outcomes to supervisors.
- Assist with office administrative tasks as needed.
· Focus on high accuracy and on-time submission when working on customer case files
· Collecting, organizing and reviewing documents received in support of applications
· Handling a high volume of files in a very fast-paced environment
· Follow up promptly with the clients for any pending replies or documents from their end
· Manage work load as per strict deadlines
· Answering all client inquiries in a timely manner
· Able to fill various kinds of immigration forms
· Learn procedures and documentation requirements for various case types
Skills Requirement:
· Ability to handle customers in difficult and stressed-out situations with positivity and empathy
· Must possess strong communication skills; both verbal and written in English (Hindi, Punjabi an asset)
· Excellent telephonic communication skills with patience, courtesy, compassion and professionalism
· Professional working knowledge of office applications such as word & excel etc.
· Aptitude to learn new skills on various software
· Expertise and efficiency with time management, multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities
· Possess good typing speed
· Must be friendly and highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills
· Must be highly organized, and detail-oriented
· Must be results-driven; and be effective working independently
