Overview
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall in residential and commercial buildings. This role requires attention to detail, strong craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in construction and carpentry is highly valued, along with a solid understanding of blueprint reading and related skills. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets according to project specifications
- Finish drywall surfaces by taping, mudding, sanding, and applying texture as needed
- Repair or replace damaged drywall sections efficiently and neatly
- Apply caulking around seams and joints for a seamless finish
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Coordinate with other trades such as carpentry and painting crews to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Assist with related handyman tasks as required on-site
Qualifications
- Proven experience in drywall installation, finishing, or related construction roles
- Knowledge of construction painting, carpentry, caulking, and blueprint reading
- Strong handyman skills with the ability to perform various repair tasks
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a physical environment
- Reliable transportation and the ability to commute to job sites regularly
- Prior experience with <PERSON> or similar projects is a plus
