One of HRM's largest Plumbing Services Companies is now hiring an experienced service technician to join our team. On call rotation is only every 10 weeks. Working as a service plumber, this is one of the best "on call rotations" this city has to offer. Hourly salary is: $50.00 per hour (includes vacation pay). Position is full time and each week you are guaranteed at least 40 hrs of work. Each week there is an opportunity to work 8-10 hours of overtime. Please note: you will not have to work for government housing or any other residential government facility. Also, all overtime is paid at twice your hourly rate. For all on call hours you will be paid $100.00 per hour. This is one of the best paying plumbing jobs the city has to offer.
If selected, you will be required to join the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union (UA Local 56). This will provide you with an amazing pension and health plan. Some of the items included are: dental, eyeglasses, prescriptions, physiotherapy etc. Also, we contribute approximately $9.00 per hour into your personal pension plan. This pension is on top of your pay and not included in your hourly rate.
