ROOM ATTENDANT - LOCATED IN CALEDON (ALTON), ONTARIO
As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms, villas and public areas. You will ensure that all rooms are prepared to meet the highest standards of hygiene and comfort. You will provide guests with a welcoming and pleasant environment. Attention to detail, efficiency, and commitment to exceptional guest satisfaction are key in this role.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Interact with guests in a warm and friendly manner.
· Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe and hazard-free environment for all villa occupants and other staff.
· Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established high standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash, etc. Includes cleaning of kitchen area, in-room refrigerator, coffee maker, cups, glasses, silverware, etc.
· Curating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for resort guests.
· Attend and participate in daily shift-briefings.
· Notify supervisor when service is complete, so rooms may be sold or occupied.
· Report to supervisor needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
· Respond to guest complaints, special requests, and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
· Dedication to providing intuitive guest service and personalized service.
· Monitor and control supplies/amenities and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping.
· Maintains neat carts and supplies ensuring they are organized to department standards.
· Maintains security of equipment; keys and supplies issued each day.
· Protecting the safety of sensitive guest information.
· Report, turn in, and log all lost and found items.
· Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
· May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
· May have turndown duties.
· Perform other duties as assigned. In carrying out your duties, you will follow all Company and Brand Standards.
Requirements:
· Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment is an asset but not required.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
· Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
· Strong physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, kneeling and standing or walking for extended periods of time.
· Ability to lift, push and pull up to 60lbs.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
· Good communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
· Basic understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
· Ability to handle cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively.
· Valid driver’s license (G1, G2, or G) is required.
