Duties
- Coordinate daily camp operations, including activity schedules, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure smooth program delivery.
- Lead and supervise camp staff and volunteers, providing guidance, support, and training to maintain high standards of safety and engagement.
- Develop and implement innovative educational activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and personal development aligned with curriculum goals.
- Foster a welcoming environment by building strong relationships with campers, parents, and community partners.
- Monitor safety protocols rigorously, conduct regular site inspections, and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies.
- Manage administrative tasks such as enrollment records, attendance tracking, and reporting compliance with organizational policies.
- Promote inclusivity by ensuring activities are accessible to all students regardless of background or ability.
Experience
- STEM background
- Higher education teaching experience or background in education administration is highly desirable.
- Proven experience working with students in a camp or educational setting, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
- Previous university experience or familiarity with academic environments enhances your ability to connect with diverse youth populations.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, staff, and community stakeholders.
- Ability to organize multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
