Job Overview
We are seeking experienced residential and commercial painters to join our professional team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in construction painting, restoration, and industrial painting, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using hand tools and power tools with precision and consistency
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects
- Perform restoration work on existing structures, including surface repairs and refinishing
- Operate rigging equipment as needed for high or hard-to-reach areas
- Utilize carpentry skills for minor framing or repair tasks related to painting projects
- Manage time effectively to complete projects within scheduled deadlines
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of debris
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential and commercial painting, including construction painting and industrial applications
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and rigging equipment
- Strong background in restoration work and surface preparation techniques
- Ability to read schematics and follow detailed instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Experience with carpentry or related construction skills is a plus
- Ability to work safely at heights using rigging equipment when necessary
- Prior experience with customer service is desirable but not required
