Overview
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong understanding of medical terminology and laboratory procedures. Ideal candidate willing to travel to 2 clinic locations (Cambridge, Milton)
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and skin punctures competently and expediently
- Collect, label, and safely transport blood, urine, and other specimens
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Interact with patients professionally and compassionately
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
- Process samples for testing in the laboratory
Requirements
- Certification in Phlebotomy or relevant field
- Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical setting
- Proficiency in phlebotomizing patients of all ages
- Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Taking blood (phlebotomy), processing urine tests.
General organization and cleanliness
Injection certified, assist Physicians in daily routines
Ideal Candidate
You have 2 years of phlebotomy experience and medical office admin experience.

Wages
Negotiable depending on experience $18-$20/hr

Part-time hours: 6-10 hours a week
Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour depending on experience
Schedule:
- 3 hour shifts Tuesday and Thursday afternoons to start with potential for Saturday shifts

Full Temp checks, hand sanitizing stations, Covid Screening, barriers.
Experience:
- phlebotomy: 2 year (required)
- Medical office: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Ontario Phlebotomy Certificate (required)
