Overview
R2R Cleaning Services Ltd. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Casual Maintenance & Operations Assistant to assist with company maintenance, supply coordination, property upkeep, and operational support on an as-needed basis. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, hands-on, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
Schedule
- Casual / on-call coverage
- Shifts may vary based on operational needs
- On-call availability for emergency or last-minute coverage may be required
- Additional hours may become available during busy seasons
Key Responsibilities
- Complete weekly supply runs to cleaning staff and job sites
- Maintain inventory and order supplies from vendors as needed
- Clean, maintain, and perform minor repairs on vacuum cleaners and cleaning equipment
- Wash and organize cleaning rags
- Clean and maintain the office space and storage areas
- Complete lawn care and seasonal snow removal duties
- Assist with minor office and facility repairs
- Keep supplies organized
- Pick up and deliver supplies as needed
- Report maintenance concerns or safety issues to management
- Assist with general company upkeep and operational support
- Complete additional duties and tasks as requested by management
Requirements
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Comfortable using basic tools, lawn care equipment, and cleaning equipment
- Ability to lift and carry supplies when needed
- Flexible schedule and ability to adapt to changing needs
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Comfortable working around cats our office cat Waffles may supervise your workday!
