Squamish City Dentist is a brand-new, modern dental practice looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Dental Receptionist to join our growing team. What You'll Be Doing
- Welcoming patients and creating a positive first impression
- Managing a busy schedule and helping optimize appointment flow
- Answering phones professionally and confidently
- Coordinating treatment appointments and recalls
- Discussing treatment recommendations and helping patients understand next steps
- Verifying insurance and processing payments
- Managing patient communications through phone, email, and text
- Supporting the clinical team with scheduling efficiencies and patient retention initiatives
- Maintaining accurate patient records using Tracker software
What We're Looking For
A completed Dental Reception Certificate is required for consideration.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong understanding of dental terminology
- Knowledge of dental procedures and treatment sequencing
- Experience or education related to dental scheduling principles
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Confidence handling patient inquiries and concerns
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- The ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods
- A genuine passion for helping patients
Experience with Tracker Practice Management Software is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
