Teniye Market, a division of Simpcw Resources Group, is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Food Truck Team Member to join our seasonal team.

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Food Truck Team Member is responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving quality food products, and helping create a welcoming experience for every customer. The successful candidate enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work, and contributes positively to a collaborative team environment.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
- Customer service or cash-handling experience is considered an asset
- Previous food service, restaurant, or cooking experience is considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to work in a confined workspace and around kitchen equipment
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Food Safe Certification is an asset or willingness to obtain
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
In this role you will:
- Greet customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner
- Take customer orders and process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Prepare, cook, and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation meet company expectations
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Assist with food preparation, handling, storage, and inventory management
- Set up, stock, and organize the food truck for daily operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck, prep areas, and storage spaces
- Monitor ingredient and supply levels and communicate inventory needs to management
- Promote menu items, specials, and seasonal offerings
- Answer customer questions and provide menu recommendations
- Open and/or close the food truck and market as required
- Respond to customer concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient daily operations
- Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
