Key Responsibilities
- Account Acquisition & Ongoing Management: Actively prospect, cold-call, and close net-new revenue from SMBs, and eCommerce merchants. Once an account is acquired, you transition into their dedicated Account Manager, taking full ownership of the relationship to retain their business and expand their shipping volume.
- Pipeline and Activity Management: Build a consistent sales pipeline. While we prioritize results over micro-managing metrics, you must maintain a steady volume of daily outbound cold call activity and hit consistent new account acquisition goals to keep your pace.
- Platform Onboarding: Walk new customers through the onboarding process. Guide them on how to leverage our rate-shopping tools, API capabilities, and multi-carrier access.
- Process and Policy Discipline: Follow strict company protocols, including our predefined account vetting guidelines and standardized customer payment structures.
- Immaculate CRM Tracking: Maintain clean, detailed, and real-time customer notes within HubSpot to ensure management has accurate pipeline visibility.
- Professional Problem Solving: Handle customer inquiries and onboarding escalations calmly and confidently, coordinating with our internal operations and finance teams when necessary.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Accountability & Drive: A resilient, results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on achieving goals. You take complete professional ownership of your performance, sales targets, and pipeline.
- Sales or Account Management Experience: Prior experience in B2B sales, outbound prospecting, or account management is highly preferred. Experience in logistics, shipping, or SaaS is a distinct advantage.
- Coachability: A willingness to learn our carrier programs, pricing tiers, and internal systems through structured training.
- Strong Negotiation & Communication: Exceptional communication skills. You must be able to confidently articulate value rather than instantly defaulting to margin-cutting discounts.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and outbound sales tools (like Apollo.io) is an asset.
Job Details & Compensation
- Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.
- Base Salary: $40,000.00 per year.
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $75,000.00 to $250,000.00+ per year. Earning potential scales dynamically based on performance and tenure, offering significant and predictable year-over-year income growth as your portfolio matures.
