We are seeking Calgary's best First Aid Instructors to work at our 3 locations.
We are seeking interested individuals who are enthusiastic instructors and strong communicators and who work well with many different types of students. Our classes are student-focused and based around active, participatory learning with an emphasis on teaching strong hands-on skills. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
What qualifications are we looking for?
At First Aid Training Calgary, we strive to ensure our employees are a fit based on their strengths, interests, and future goals. The successful candidate will have the following;
- Strong administrative, communication and organizational skills
- Red Cross First Aid Instructor -- must be currently certified
The following qualifications would be considered a strong asset:
- Red Cross Instructor Trainer
- Heart and Stroke Basic Life Support Instructor
Please note, all certifications must be current and valid at the time of application.
What does this role look like at First Aid Training Calgary?
As a First Aid Instructor, you will:
- Complete the administration processes for each class, including printing off course rosters, cross referencing rosters with sign in sheets, track no-shows and maintaining and storing records
- Value different opinions and perspectives
- Be a self-directed and independent worker
- Have strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Be organized and accountable for being prepared prior to each class
- Have the ability to be reactive and tailor outcomes to group's needs
A vehicle, valid driver's license and teaching experience is an asset. A criminal record check is required upon hiring.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
