The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently while maintaining accurate guest records.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
- Process payments and manage billing accurately during the night audit if required.
- Operate multi-line phone systems to respond to calls promptly and direct them as needed.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Assist in managing reservations and coordinating guest services as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
- Strong hospitality management skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus; experience with night audit procedures is advantageous.
- Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
