Commerce Gate Physiotherapy & Chiropractic is a modern, multi-disciplinary clinic located at Commerce Gate Plaza (Highway 7 and Leslie, Markham/Richmond Hill). We offer physiotherapy, chiropractic, and registered massage therapy — and we're growing fast.
We are expanding into a significantly larger clinic space in Fall 2026. This is a rare opportunity to join a pelvic health practice at an exciting stage of growth, with a collaborative team that genuinely loves what they do.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate, skilled Registered Physiotherapist with specialized training in pelvic floor physiotherapy and pelvic health rehabilitation. Whether you treat prenatal and postnatal patients, pelvic pain, incontinence, or prolapse, if pelvic health is your specialty and patient outcomes drive you, we'd love to hear from you.
Pelvic health is a new service offering at Commerce Gate and we're looking for the right practitioner to own and grow that pillar within our established multi-disciplinary clinic and referral network.
Cantonese and/or Mandarin fluency is a very strong asset given our patient community.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive pelvic floor assessments including internal pelvic examinations where appropriate
- Treat conditions including urinary/fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic girdle pain, dyspareunia, vaginismus, prenatal and postpartum rehabilitation, and diastasis recti
- Develop individualized pelvic health rehabilitation programs using evidence-based techniques
- Administer manual therapy, biofeedback, therapeutic exercise, and patient education
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team (physiotherapy + chiropractic) for warm cross-referrals and comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in our Jane App practice management system
- Educate patients on pelvic health, self-management strategies, and long-term wellness
Qualifications
- Valid registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Physiotherapists (OCP)
- Post-graduate certification or advanced training in pelvic floor physiotherapy (e.g., Pelvic Health Solutions, Herman & Wallace, or equivalent)
- Competency in internal pelvic floor assessment and treatment
- Experience treating pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic pain, incontinence, prenatal/postnatal conditions, or related diagnoses
- Professional Liability Insurance (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Excellent communication, patient education, and time management skills
- Comfortable working with patients across the full lifespan — from adolescents to older adults
- Availability for weekday and/or weekend shifts
- Cantonese and/or Mandarin language fluency (very strong asset)
