What You'll Do:
As an essential part of our crew, you'll provide hands-on support across our job sites, ensuring our carpenters and projects stay fully stocked, organized, and on schedule. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Carpentry Support: Assisting our skilled carpenters with framing, installations, and daily construction tasks.
- Material Delivery & Handling: Transporting, loading, and unloading construction materials and tools to and from various sites.
- Demolition & Site Prep: Safely performing interior and exterior demolition work, clearing debris, and prepping job sites for upcoming builds.
- Rebuild & General Maintenance: Assisting with light structural rebuilds and general site upkeep.
- All-Around Support: Acting as the go-to team member for a wide rotation of daily tasks—stepping in wherever you're needed most to get the job done.
What We're Looking For:
- Versatile Experience: A strong work ethic and readiness to handle physical labour across demolition, material handling, and general construction support.
- Adaptable Work Ethic: The ability to take direction quickly, shift tasks seamlessly on the fly, and work productively with minimal supervision.
- Detail-Oriented & Safety-Conscious: A commitment to maintaining a clean, safe workspace and looking out for team safety on site.
- Valid Driver's License: Essential for traveling to and transporting materials between various job sites in and around Clarence-Rockland, Ontario.
- Clean Criminal Record: A clean background check is mandatory, as security clearance will be required for specific projects. The security clearance will be handled by us after the 3 months probation.
- Reliability: You'll work 8-hour days, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work depending on project demands.
