Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness of equipment-completion of daily checklists (ie. inspection, cleaning & maintaining equipment)
- Follow all employer policies, including dress code, driving, cellular phone use, Health, and Safety
- Operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, load, and grade materials such as earth, rock, and gravel on the worksite
- Completing residential projects like landscaping, retaining walls, septic installation, etc.
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task;
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a heavy equipment operator
- Must have a clean driver abstract
- 40+ hours a week
- Travel to the office every morning prior to work starting & travel as a unit for the day
- Resolve any issues brought forward and problem solve for a solution
- Must be well versed in construction site protocols, rules and code of conduct
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
