Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility
- Conduct commercial cleaning procedures in offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas with attention to detail and hygiene standards
- Maintain floors, carpets, windows, and fixtures to ensure they are spotless and well-maintained
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and cleaning products as needed
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs or reporting repairs needed for equipment or infrastructure
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Support special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning sessions as scheduled or required
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety standards, and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting moderate loads, and climbing ladders if necessary
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality in all cleaning activities
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work effectively within a team
