Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented scale house attendant to cover for a leave from Sept through December. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our pit.
Responsibilities
- Operate truck scales and record inbound and outbound weights.
- Process customer transactions and maintain accurate weight records.
- Assist drivers with scale procedures and site requirements.
- Coordinate with yard and operations personnel to ensure efficient traffic flow.
- Process cash payments.
- Maintain clean scale house and surrounding area.
- End of day reports.
- Skills
- Basic computer skills including email and excel
- Customer service experience
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with both fellow team members and customers
- Strong basic math skills for accurate order processing
- Previous experience in a similar environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
