Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food handling and sanitation practices are highly valued. Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and addressing customer inquiries
- Manage cashier responsibilities, including processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions
- Ensure proper food safety and sanitation protocols are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
- Support team members during busy periods by sharing responsibilities such as serving, food prep, and cleaning tasks
- Follow time management practices to ensure timely service delivery during shifts
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Food Handler Certificate is required
- Strong understanding of food handling, safety, and sanitation standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; experience in serving or cashiering is advantageous
- Food industry knowledge including food preparation, serving, and upselling techniques is desirable
