We are currently partnering with a modern, patient-centered dental practice in ThunderBay, Ontario seeking a full-time Dentist. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about providing quality dental care and eager to build strong, long-term relationships with patients. For motivated practitioners, annual earnings typically fall between $250K and $300K in the first year, with significant growth potential.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide comprehensive oral health assessments and routine dental checkups
- Diagnose, plan, and deliver treatments for a wide range of dental conditions
- Perform restorative and surgical procedures including fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions, and prosthetics
- Guide patients through treatment plans, ensuring they understand their options
- Promote preventive care and educate patients on proper oral hygiene habits
- Keep thorough, accurate records of patient care and treatment progress
- Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient experiences
- Stay engaged with ongoing professional development and new techniques in dentistry
What We’re Looking For
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited program (mandatory)
- Active dental license in Ontario, eligible to practice without restriction (mandatory)
- Previous hands-on experience as a Dentist in private practice or clinic setting
- Proficiency in a wide range of dental procedures and familiarity with current dental technologies
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, precision, and problem-solving abilities
- Professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations
- Commitment to continuous learning and excellence in patient care
