Position Summary
Arctic Stone Ltd. is seeking a Stone Cutter & Polisher to join our fabrication team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, polishing, and finishing natural and engineered stone products while ensuring high-quality workmanship, accuracy, and compliance with company safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and work orders.
- Measure, cut, and shape stone slabs according to specifications.
- Polish and finish stone edges and surfaces to company quality standards.
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality.
- Operate and maintain fabrication equipment safely.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience working with granite, quartz, marble, porcelain, or engineered stone is preferred.
- Ability to read measurements and fabrication drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to work in a manufacturing environment and safely handle stone materials.
