Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Representative – Immigration & Business Advisory Services to join our Mississauga office.
This position is focused on business development, client engagement, relationship management, and sales support. The successful candidate will play a key role in guiding prospective clients through the early stages of their journey by responding to enquiries, qualifying leads, scheduling consultations, maintaining consistent follow-up, and coordinating the client onboarding process.
Please note that this role does not involve providing immigration advice, legal services, or business consulting. Detailed consultations and professional advisory services are conducted by senior management. Instead, this position supports the sales process by building strong relationships with prospective clients and ensuring a seamless client experience from initial enquiry through onboarding.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead Management
- Respond promptly to new enquiries received via phone, email, WhatsApp, website, and CRM.
- Contact and engage warm leads generated through the company's marketing initiatives.
- Qualify prospective clients by understanding their initial needs and objectives.
- Schedule consultations with senior management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records of all client interactions and follow-up activities.
Client Follow-up & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain professional relationships with prospective clients.
- Conduct timely follow-ups before and after consultations.
- Answer routine questions regarding our consultation process and services.
- Maintain regular communication with prospective clients throughout the decision-making process.
- Assist in converting qualified prospects into retained clients through consistent relationship management.
Sales Support & Client Onboarding
- Support management throughout the client acquisition process.
- Coordinate the onboarding of new clients after engagement.
- Assist clients with documentation requests and administrative requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Provide ongoing administrative support to the sales and management teams.
Office & Client Coordination
- Welcome clients attending scheduled appointments.
- Coordinate consultation schedules and meeting arrangements.
- Ensure a professional and positive client experience during office visits.
- Assist with general front-office administration and client communications.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates confidently, and takes pride in delivering exceptional client service.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, client relations, customer service, telemarketing, banking, insurance, education consulting, real estate, financial services, or another client-facing role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Fluency in Punjabi and/or Hindi is considered a strong asset.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Professional telephone etiquette and confidence speaking with prospective clients.
- Excellent follow-up discipline and client engagement skills.
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional environment.
- Experience using CRM or lead management software is considered an asset.
