Checks in and Checks out members and guests
Processes all guest room reservations and cancellations
Fully understands all functions of the front desk and abides by all policies and procedures.
Knowledge of location, rates, features of the guestrooms, facilities and hours of operation
Works closely with the Housekeeping Department
Answers guest questions, comments and concerns quickly and efficiently
Able to work a flexible schedule including am, pm and overnight shifts weekdays, weekends and holidays
Ability to perform concierge services
Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
Issues room key and offer instructions for parking and location of the guest's room.
Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests and shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions
Deliver requested amenities to the room.
All other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.
Qualifications
Excellent communication and people skills, team player, and available for a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings and holidays.
Requirements
A high school education or equivalent is required, with prior customer service experience helpful. The ability to communicate effectively and graciously in English is essential. This position requires continuous movement, full mobility, lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing or pulling a luggage cart up to 200 pounds.
