We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team.
This is a dynamic role that blends front-desk reception with administrative and clinical support for physicians, playing a key role in ensuring our clinic runs smoothly and efficiently.
As the first point of contact for patients, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere while managing the efficient day-to-day operations of the clinic.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Medical Office Assistant.
- Previous experience using JUNO and OSCAR EMR is required
- Must have phlebotomy experience and be able to perform intramuscular (IM) injections confidently and safely.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and administrative procedures.
- Highly proficient in computer skills and administrative systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in phone system operations and the use of basic office equipment.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Demonstrates a positive, professional attitude and a commitment to exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist with the check-in process.
- Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiries.
- Manage clinic email correspondence, responding promptly and professionally to patient inquiries and processing incoming referrals, reports, and other communications
- Manage entries from online intake forms, emails, and other sources of new patient requests to join the practice, ensuring they are processed and booked in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate patient records using JUNO and OSCAR EMR.
- Verify patient insurance information and address billing inquiries.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely patient care and follow-up.
- Maintain physicians’ appointment schedules and ensure patients are booked appropriately.
- Perform general administrative tasks including filing, data entry, scanning, faxing, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
- Assist physicians with basic clinical tasks, including taking bloods (phlebotomy) and giving intramuscular (IM) injections.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and uphold patient confidentiality standards.
