Temporary Part Time Direct Support Professional
up to 36 hours/week, for 2 months to start immediately
Starting Rate of Pay: $24.64/hr

Two gentlemen are seeking a caring Direct Support Professional to support one living in Stratford, and one living in St.Marys in a temporary position for 2months.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
- A belief in citizenship and the value of strong relationships
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A respect for all to make their own choices
- Minimum Grade 12 or high school equivalent, with preference given to those with DSW/PSW
- A clean Vulnerable Sector Record**
- A current, valid ‘G’ driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Preference given to someone who enjoys playing cards and going for walks
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides direct assistance and support based on the needs of the person and as directed by the support plan and/or life plan
- Supports people to achieve goals, explore community resources, and build meaningful connections
- Provides clear and unbiased guidance to support people in making informed choices
- Participates in ongoing training and reflective practices
- Completes all daily administrative duties as assigned
