MB Country Living is looking for a Part Time Sales Associate for our Niagara Region locations. You will be responsible for the ongoing execution of all daily functions of the store and warehouse. The successful candidate takes pride in the quality of their work, approaches tasking with urgent, yet positive, energy and shares our commitment to excellence in customer service and personal accountability.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
Customer Service
-Provide best in class customer service – hosting each guest throughout the building, over the phone, or via e-mail as required. You will build rapport with your customers, learning their names as well as those of their family & pets and consistently exceeding their expectations
-Able to listen actively and communicate in a straightforward manner with customers and teammates
-Execute on the daily cleaning, dusting, and more as directed by the Store Manager: cleaning and tidying is a task that happens in down time throughout the day, every day
Job Knowledge
-Enjoys physical work – able to lift and carry 25kg without restriction continuously throughout the workday
-Able to think critically, problem solve, and look for tasks that need to be completed
-Executes reductions, price changes, standard equipment maintenance & checks, expiry audits and all other MB routines and processes as directed
-Strong communication skills required – able to receive and follow instruction and communicate new information or concerns to teammates or the Management team
-Actively work with product - maximize selling opportunities through stock rotation & replenishment, assembling and building displays (including price labelling) as per MB guidelines at the direction of the Store Manager
-Operate POS to process all required transactions & issue receipts courteously and efficiently, concluding with a carry out of merchandise or a load up at the dock as per MB customer service standard “We Load it For You”
-Be aware of and in compliance with all relevant MB Country Living established standards, policies and procedures: including arriving to work on time, dressed in uniform and ready to step onto the sales floor at the scheduled start time
