This Is a High Priority Opening for Our Transportation Team
TOC Logistics is seeking an experienced, safety-first AZ Driver to join our transportation team. This is an additional role as we grow our fleet and expand our delivery commitments. You will be operating flat deck equipment, representing TOC professionally with every client interaction, and holding yourself to the highest standards of safety, documentation, and on-time performance.

Role Purpose
Ensure the safe, professional, and reliable operation of TOC transportation vehicles to support client delivery commitments. The AZ Driver directly represents TOC in the field and plays a critical role in maintaining service quality, safety compliance, and client satisfaction on every route.
Key Responsibilities
Transportation & Delivery
- Drive safely in all road and weather conditions, adhering to all MTO regulations and hours-of-service requirements
- Deliver freight on schedule and in compliance with company policy
- Load and unload materials safely, accurately, and professionally
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report any maintenance or equipment concerns
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete all BOLs, paperwork, and required documentation accurately and on time
- Operate onboard telematics including electronic logs and communication systems
- Attend Driver Safety meetings and support compliance with all TOC safety policies
Communication & Representation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, or route changes
- Represent TOC professionally in all interactions with clients, customers, and the public
What Success Looks Like
0 to 3 Months
- Operating independently on assigned routes with zero incidents
- Demonstrating proficiency with ELDs, BOLs, and required documentation
- Building a solid understanding of client commitments and TOC service standards
3 to 6 Months
- Working independently and capable of covering additional routes
- Managing on-route challenges including delays, weather, and customer issues with calm and consistency
- Demonstrating proactive communication with dispatch and stakeholders
6 to 12 Months
- Fully capable of covering any route independently and supporting newer drivers
- Maintaining zero incidents, accidents, and customer concerns
- Sustaining steady, safe pace while meeting all customer SLAs and return-to-building expectations
Required Experience
- Valid AZ license with a minimum of 5 years proven commercial truck driving experience
- Clean driver abstract (5-year clean abstract required) and valid CVOR
- Minimum 2 years flat deck experience — this is a firm requirement
- Demonstrated knowledge of strapping, load securement, and flat deck regulations
- Strong knowledge of MTO regulations and hours-of-service requirements
- Proficiency with ELDs, BOLs, and onboard telematics
- Excellent communication, professionalism, and problem-solving skills on route
- Candidates without a valid AZ license, flat deck experience, and a clean abstract will not be considered.

- Largely independent role with significant time on the road and outdoors
- Varied pace — steady, reactive, and deadline-driven depending on route and season
- Shift start and end locations may vary across multiple TOC buildings
- Seasonal peaks and shifting priorities require nimble, calm adaptation on route
- Safety-first workplace with strict adherence to equipment, documentation, and operational standards
- This role requires reliability, professionalism, and a high standard of care every shift.
