Overview
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Grounds Person to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in physical work, and wants to be part of a professional, safety-focused crew. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in arboriculture, tree care, and landscape maintenance, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting climbers and crew during tree removals and pruning
- Dragging brush, feeding chippers, and site cleanup
- Operating and maintaining basic equipment and tools, such as chainsaws and wood chippers
- Ensuring job sites remain clean, organized, and safe
- Communicating clearly with crew members throughout the job
What we’re looking for:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions
- Dependable and punctual
- Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
- Must be in good physical condition, capable of lifting up to 50lbs
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract required
- Previous tree service or landscaping experience is an asset, but not required
