Overview
Nurse Practitioner – Integrative Health Clinic
Uptown Integrative Health | Winnipeg, Manitoba
Part-Time with opportunity to expand to Full-Time | Independent Practice Opportunity | In-Person Preferred
Uptown Integrative Health is a multidisciplinary clinic in Winnipeg seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) interested in building a practice within a collaborative, integrative healthcare setting.
This opportunity would be an excellent fit for an NP with an interest in women’s health, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), functional medicine and preventative healthcare who values working alongside other healthcare professionals to provide thoughtful, patient-centred care.
About the Opportunity
Our clinic brings together practitioners from different disciplines with the goal of providing collaborative, whole-person care. The successful NP would have the opportunity to establish and grow their own patient base while benefiting from strong internal referral opportunities from established practitioners within the clinic.
We are particularly interested in an NP who would enjoy developing a practice in areas such as:
- Perimenopause and menopause care, including assessment and management of HRT
- Women’s health and hormonal concerns
- Preventative and metabolic health
- Digestive Health
- And interest in Functional and integrative medicine
- General primary-care concerns within the NP's scope of practice
- Collaboration with naturopathic doctors and other allied health professionals
Why Join Uptown Integrative Health?
This is an opportunity to practice in an environment where collaboration is genuinely encouraged. Our practitioners value communication across disciplines and recognize that patients often benefit from having different healthcare professionals working together.
The position offers the opportunity to build a practice through in-clinic referrals, while also developing your own areas of clinical interest. This may be particularly appealing to an NP interested in functional or integrative medicine who would like to work alongside practitioners already seeing patients with women's health, gastrointestinal, metabolic and other complex health concerns.
In-person appointments are preferred, as we believe having practitioners working together within the clinic helps facilitate communication, referrals and a stronger patient experience although occasional tele-health appointments can be accomodated.
Ideal Candidate
We would love to hear from an NP who is collaborative, personable and interested in developing a long-term practice within our clinic. Previous experience with HRT, menopause care or functional medicine is an asset but not necessarily required; a genuine interest in developing expertise in these areas is equally valuable.
Candidates must be appropriately licensed and in good standing to practise as a Nurse Practitioner in Manitoba and carry the required professional liability insurance.
