Job Description:
We are looking for a Glass Technician to service our four Greater Victoria locations (Langford, Victoria, Saanichton, and Sidney locations) with use of a van. The van can be conveniently parked at your home and cover travel to and from each location.
The Glass Technician is responsible for installing and repairing auto glass in-shop or mobile basis. The Glass Technician works with all team members in achieving the repair facilities' KPIs.
Key Job Responsibilities

Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan

Installs auto glass and other auto glass products in-shop or on a mobile basis

Utilizes the proper tools and techniques to ensure efficient, timely, and quality installation service

Ensures required paperwork is completed and turned in to the appropriate person or location

Maintains a safe and acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy

Load glass in the van

Immediately follow up with the General Manager on any problems that arise in the installation of the glass.

Seek learning opportunities ensuring all work meets high quality standards, maintaining a low return rate and supporting operational excellence.
Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Completion of Post-Secondary Education in an Automotive Repair Program

Minimum 3 years of Auto Glass Technician experience

Red Seal certification
Preferred Education and/or Experience
-
I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification) is an asset
Other Requirements Travel, physical requirements, etc.

Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift approximately 50 lbs.

Valid driver’s license required

Compensation Details
Hourly:
$30 - 33 per hour
Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
