JS Foster Corporation, a precision machine shop in Victoria, British Columbia, is looking for a Reel Builder and Production Assistant for our internal brand Islander Reels. Islander Reels has been manufacturing premium single action fishing reels since 1990. Our line includes mooching, fly, and centerpin reels. All parts are designed and manufactured in-house.
We are looking for a candidate with keen attention to detail and accuracy in their work. Additionally, the successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills.
Assembly Role:
- Assembly of fishing reels
- Preparation work for building fishing reels
- Operating machinery to manufacture components
Required skills:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to focus on repetitive tasks
No previous manufacturing experience is required.
Hours 8:00am - 4:30pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $23.50 per hour
