Duties:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles including route driving, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, and forklifts
- Load and unload materials and equipment onto trucks
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated locations
- Follow established routes and schedules to optimize efficiency
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information
- Assist with the maintenance and cleanliness of vehicles and equipment
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in route driving, delivery driving, or heavy equipment operation preferred
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other heavy machinery
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers
