Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Technician specializing in telecommunications and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in telecommunication systems and equipment operation, contributing to the maintenance and installation of critical infrastructure. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects involving fiber network setup, and equipment operation.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot telecommunication systems.
- Manage network infrastructure components, ensuring optimal performance of telecommunication and data systems.
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of fiber optics and related infrastructure.
- Follow safety protocols during all operations.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for each project.
Experience
- Strong background with knowledge of troubleshooting and system repairs.
- Experience working with telecommunication systems including telephony, WAN networks, and fiber optics.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting in commercial or industrial settings.
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics related to electrical and telecommunication projects. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent safety awareness and technical skills to ensure the reliable operation of vital communication and electrical systems across various projects.
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
