Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef De Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall kitchen operations. The Chef De Partie will work closely with the head chef and kitchen staff to ensure exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, sauté, or pastry stations
- Ensure all food preparation meets food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist in food handling, meal preparation, and plating for service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service
- Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for ingredients or supplies
- Serve dishes efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with attention to detail
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and meal preparation methods
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
