CIMtech Green Energy | Powering the Future is a Canada-based manufacturing company serving customers in fuel cell, defense and aerospace, automotive, marine & mining sectors. Through an acquisition of a 20,000 sq. ft advanced CNC manufacturing facility, CIMtech has recently doubled its footprint in Vancouver, Canada to increase operational capabilities by 200%. This expansion allows for increased service levels for their global customers in prototype/new product development and repeat manufacturing orders for fuel cell-electrolyzer components & assemblies, aerospace tooling & flying parts, automotive research centers, mining & marine companies developing new products.
Role Description:
CIMtech Green Energy | Powering the Future is seeking a dynamic and driven individual looking to bring their experience in Mechatronics and Engineering to our shop. CIMtech Green Energy is currently working on developing Hydrogen/Fuel Cell projects, and we would love your help to design, create and integrate them!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with assembling hardware, Green Energy application, electrical system design, wiring diagrams, and component selection
- Understand and complete code testing, prototype development and integrate hardware testing
- Support battery testing, voltage monitoring, current measurement, power calculations and computer engineering
- Help with DC-DC converter testing, power switching, and basic control circuits
- Assist with sensor integration, data logging, and electrical troubleshooting
- Support MATLAB/Simulink simulations and compare results with real test data
- Prepare test reports, wiring documentation, and technical summaries
- Assist with bench testing using multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and electronic loads
- Follow safety procedures when working with power electronics, and test equipment
Qualifications:
- Graduated with Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Engineering Science
- Strong skills in learning and applying knowledge to design prototypes and assisting in other factors to create and develop projects.
- Deep experience in Electronics
- Understanding or experience with Fuel Cells and Hydrogen
- Strong software and hardware skills
Shifts: Candidates must be willing to work shifts as needed including days, afternoons and evenings
Job Type: Part-time, 20 hours a week
Schedule:
- 5-8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Pay: $21.00-$28.00 per hour
